Melbourne & Beaches Music Marathon, Half Marathon event has now partnered with Fifty States HALF Marathon Club to give official club members an awesome discount. Additionally, the Melbourne & Beaches event is a perfect time of year for a getaway, especially for those of you who are ready for your winter to be over and need some sunshine! The Half Marathon event takes place on Sunday February 5th 2012 (with the full marathon & Relays)(Note the 5k and 8k are on Saturday). I'd like to also make note that this event has taken eco-friendly efforts with a goal of producing the most sustainable event in the region, participating in a going green initiative starting this past year in 2011. This event has 20 music performances along the course, ranging from solo horn players, duos and bands, entertaining the runners along the course, in addition to the post race party and music performance To Be Announced.... and BEER!
