Masters of All Terrain Half Marathon in Orlando Florida

The Sunday September 11, 2016 Master of All Terrain Half Marathon in Orlando, FL is an off road half marathon in the Little Big Econ State Forest.  While Florida is typically still pretty hot for half marathons in September, I'd gather this course may have some tree cover to provide some shade (you'd have to confirm with race organizer).  Very little additional information is provided on the website about this race, so we'll have to leave it up to you to reach out to the race organizer.  For a direct link, visit the Florida half marathons page and scroll to September.

Florida Half Marathons Feb 21 and Feb 22, 2015

4 half marathons this weekend in Florida to choose from!  For the trail runners, you have Down2earth Amelia Half Marathon Saturday, and Down2Earth Oleta Trail Half Marathon Sunday. For the Road runners and half marathon walkers, there is the Disney Princess Half Marathon and the Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic Half Marathon in Tampa (both on Sunday, and have pretty cool medals as well). Florida Half Marathons in January

There are at least 20 half marathons in Florida in January 2015, ranging from large race attendance to small, and both road and trail half marathons to choose from.  For southern Florida half marathons in January, runners are looking at average temps around low to mid 70's for the high.  In central Florida half marathons are going to have temps around 70 degrees.  Even more ideal for running, northern Florida half marathons will high have temps on average in the mid to upper 60's in January.

There are 4 trail half marathons to pick from in Florida in January.  River Roots & Ruts Trail Half Marathon in Alva, Florida Challenge Half Marathon in Lithia, Down2Earth Trail Half in Amelia in the North Miami Beach vicinity, and Masters of All Terrain Half Marathon in Orlando [all are in central to southern Florida].

For Southern Florida half marathons in January, you have the Key West Half Marathon in Key West, West Palm Beach Half Marathon in West Palm Beach, Naples Daily News Half Marathon in Naples, and Lifetime Miami Half Marathon in Miami.


For Central Florida half marathons in January, you have the St. Pete Beach Classic Half Marathon in St. Petersburg, the Clearwater Distance Classic Halfathon in Clearwater, Town of Celebration Half Marathon in Celebration, Florida Suncoast Half Marathon in Lakewood Ranch (a bit on edge of southern and central Florida).

For Northern Florida half marathons in January, you have Zooma Florida Half Marathon in Amelia Island, the Superhero Bayou Bay Half Marathon in Destin, and Ocala Half Marathon in Ocala, Florida which is a bit on the edge of Northern and Central Florida.

Lots of great half marathons to choose from in some great destinations to escape the winter and include a half marathon for a little vacation in Florida!

Beautiful, scenic course around Lake Baldwin starting at Harbor Park. Run through the Veterans Memorial Park, past the VA Medical Center, see wild birds, turtles and natural Florida wild flowers and plants on sections of path. Paved course, but can run on grass along side. Course is a series of 2.5 Mi loops with restaurants and upscale shopping nearby. Second year of Half Marathon. Every finisher gets a 9 in Trophy with marble base.
